Can you set up a database for me?
We have a range of options (including free options) to help setup a database to track your assets. Please email us at info@onlineassetlabels.de with more information about your requirements.
How strong is the adhesive?
The adhesive used on metal asset labels is Avery HPA 2925, specifically developed for heavy-duty bonding applications requiring high shear performance, moisture, chemical, UV or temperature resistance, especially on irregular or embossed substrates.
On flexible Mylar and polypropylene labels, we use an aggressive permanent adhesive. All adhesives gain in strength over time and typically reach close to maximum strength after 72 hours.

How do I pay for the labels?
We require payment by credit card at time of order. Transactions are securely handled by Stripe. If you need another payment method, please contact us and we can process offline.
Are other size labels available?
This site only shows our three most popular sizes. If you need something different, please info@onlineassetlabels.de—we can accommodate custom sizes.
Barcodes Explained
What is a barcode?
A barcode is an optical, machine-readable representation of data. Symbology refers to how data is encoded into the barcode image. 1D (linear) barcodes vary line widths and spacings; 2D barcodes (matrix codes) use geometric patterns to pack more information and tolerate damage.
QR Code, Datamatrix and other 2D barcodes
- DataMatrix: Encodes up to 2000 characters with ~30% error correction. Ideal for high-density needs.
- QR Code: Great for URLs and shorter alphanumeric data. ~30% error correction.
- Aztec, PDF417, etc.: Available on request.
Do you sell barcode readers?
No—but our barcodes work with all major scanners. We recommend Honeywell and Zebra units. Depending on your database software, a modern smartphone may also work as a scanner—contact us to discuss.
